Ishin

Well, we did find a translator. Unfortunately, he doesn’t like Ghost Sweeper that much, which is cool considering that releasing something is better than being dead, so we appreciate the help a hell of a lot. We still would like to continue Ghost Sweeper, and if he gets some time, he said he could help us out a little. However, we expected Tokyo Revelations episode 2 to be released sometime in March, not January, which is why we were like “Eh, why not. It’s just 3 episodes.”

It took us over a month to sub over a lot of issues like just trying to get our act polished again. I personally was pretty rusty at typesetting and tried a bunch of fancy karaokes, but ended up with \K so that the release date wouldn’t get pushed into oblivion.

Two areas we could use help in: QC and Translating. This actually is where we had a lot of delays. Well, translation this time wasn’t one of them, but it’s what is holding back Ghost Sweeper Mikami.

Yeah, we’re slow. Ishin is in dire need of 2 good translators that can either provide a full translation or donate some time to help us double-check translations. We are known more for the young girl harem series, but members have been interested in other series like Gundam (well, while it’s unlicensed), and some neat projects like Ghost Sweeper.

The main reason why we finish young girl harem series is because it tends to be very low on the anime R1 licensing companies’ radar and we tend to be a slow fansub group.

Responsibilities: we basically need about a translation about every 1-2 weeks on average. Of course there’ll be time when final exams come, your car breaks down and you need to get it fixed, or your cable modem gets fried. It’s a general rule and if you are interested in providing your service to us, post a comment leaving your email addy (it’ll be hidden from the general public but not the blog admins) and we’ll contact you shortly. If not, just spam the blog again in a week.

Well, we had a mess with our old web account, but we got a web space donor and the website is back in operation! For a while you may have noticed our torrent site, hosted by a.scarywater.net, being forwarded to for a while, which was okay but didn’t have the intimacy of the old blog. Also, the websites are kinda scattered right now, but we hope to have that fixed within 1-2 weeks.
